Change is constant.
We are in an environment of change that is exponentially more than previous generations.
How can we embrace change?
Change needs new behaviours.
Learning agility, curiousity, openness, courage, innovation & bold action are all behaviours that will help you make better sense of a changing environment & make the most of it.
There’s also things that we have to stop doing.
Being closed minded, allowing assumptions to decide what we do or don’t do, allowing our biases to play out & being resistant to change are all things we need to reduce, if not get rid of.
Change needs new thoughts & not allowing the old way of thinking to continue.
And this giving up things & old thoughts is probably the tough part of change for people.
We see the things we have to give up rather than the great opportunities ahead.
Learning new things is something that feels good.
Giving up feeling fear, or self-doubt feels a little worse & so we avoid these kinds of things.
Change however, demands we do things differently.
What got us here, won’t get us there.
If you want to change something, it’s not always about what you want, it’s also what you allow already.
Be ok with change.
And curious about what will help you embrace the environment proactively.
