onwards or retreat

When you set off on a path

a path that you have committed to

it creates a first step.

This first step contains the trust,

the trust, that you will develop self-belief after taking it.

The path contains hopes

and fears.

There will be hurdles along the way.

Do not resent those hurdles,

expect them.

Do not judge yourself for being uncomfortable when they arrive.

Soften to those reactions.

The obstacles hold within their weight, your transformation.

The transformation is the ability to hold and mould the obstacle

to be a speed bump,

a learning,

a deepening within,

rather than a stop-sign.

But proceed.

Always proceed.
